Envac Centralsug AB is the inventor of the underground waste transportation technology. Based on vacuum technology household waste and commercial waste is transported in pipes undergound with high velocity. Envac's systems are installed in residential areas, business premises, town centres, industrial kitchens, hospitals and airports in more than thirty countries. Every day Envac system serves close to 1 million homes and 35,000 hospital patients and collects food waste from 1 million flight meals world wide. The installation of an Envac system leads to a drastic reduction of road transportation of waste, improved hygiene and enhanced occupational health and safety standards. The Envac waste collection system supports source separation.The Group has 37 offices in 18 countries in Europe and Asia.
Envac Centralsug AB is fully owned by Stena Adactum, a company in the Stena-sphere.
